HSBC online customers at risk over security flaw
LONDON - More than three million customers of global banking giant HSBC have been left vulnerable while banking over the internet for more than two years because of a security flaw, The Guardian reported.

HSBC has said it is going to review its online security after some researchers at Cardiff University in the UK found a loophole which could allow access to customers' online accounts.According to the story a hacker could compromise an account within 9 attempts.And it is clear that even on screen virtual keyboards as used by HSBC Malta are still vulnerable to a mouse keylogger which grabs a bitmap of the region around the mouse cursor every time you click - an analysis of the HSBC vulnerability claims that this technique is already in active use.
