BB&T, BofA warn of e-mail fraud scams
BB&T Corp. and Bank of America Corp. on Tuesday renewed warnings to customers about responding to bogus e-mails requesting account information.Making the cyberspace rounds lately is a fraudulent notice asking BB&T customers to "renew" their online banking accounts. Another fake e-mail tells Bank of America clients they need to create a new log-in. Both e-mails bear bank logos.
